MICAYA
With over 35 years of experience, Micaya is a multi-hyphenate artist whose work spans choreography, instruction, producing, curating, directing, consulting, and more. She was named “Best Dance Teacher” by a Bay Area publication and serves as the choreographer/director of SoulForce Dance Company.
Micaya is the founder, producer, and artistic director of the iconic San Francisco International Hip Hop DanceFest, and the producer/curator of Mission in the Mix at Dance Mission. Her classes are widely loved for their expert instruction and the supportive, safe environment she intentionally creates for every student.
