Join Arenas Dance Company to celebrate Raíces Profundas’ landmark 50th anniversary. Raíces Profundas is Havana, Cuba’s groundbreaking folkloric dance ccompany, and the company with which Arenas’ director and founder, Susana Arenas Pedroso, danced for years. Pedroso credits Raíces Profundas for her hard hitting, signatrue style. The afternoon starts with a new performance by Arenas Dance Company that celebrates Rumba – a dance that has come to reprsent Cuban cultural pride – and finishes with a dance party a lo cubano!
All ticket sales go directly back towards supporting Arenas Dance Company.
