Washington and (S.) Claiborne workshop will introduce participants to the  beautiful movements, sounds, rituals, and history of the Second Line tradition born out of Black New Orleanian culture. Through video presentation, listening segments, lecture and guided movement practice, participants will embody what it means to celebrate life and community on the highest vibration. Come with a towel and yo’ good, sturdy dancing shoes on because this dance form is footwork heavy! The Latanya will host a Q&A at the end.
