Prerequisite: Must have completed the TAIKO ABSOLUTE BEGINNING SERIES
or have at least 2 months of Taiko experience.
The TAIKO FOUNDATIONS LEVEL II series will build
upon beginning level Taiko skills developing dexterity, musical
dynamics, accents, speed, and power
across a range of different Taiko including the small drum
(Shimedaiko) and the big drum (Odaiko & Hira-Daiko). Students will
learn the song, “Isami Goma” (Brave Horse) while further refining
their Kata (form).
