Join Tika for a chance to bring the FIRE in a Reggaeton Fusion Performance Workshop.This Workshop practice features 6 REHEARSALS, Tech, AND 2 SHOW DATES on stage at Dance Mission Theater.
We will be working on focus, self expression, the importance of working with others and then sharing our love of dance with the community.It is helpful if participants have at least one year of dance experience with Tika or in Hip Hop or other Latin Dance styles. Those with less experience are welcome if they also have been taking Tika’s ongoing Reggaeton Fusion class regularly and are willing to go for it!Tika’s Reggaeton Fusion offers dancers a way to embody Reggaetón music while exploring the movement styles that inform the music. Tika pulls movement from Dancehall, Cuban Popular and Folkloric Dance, Latin Hip Hop, Basic Samba while pointing back to their roots.
