We are excited to announce that our dance short, Chishkale: The Blessing of the Acorn will be screened at the Mendocino Film Festival as part of their Native Cinema program.  Following the screening will be a talk-back with Chishkale director, Linda Mai Green.

Chishkale, a dance film created to honor Tan Oak conservation efforts and the sacred, traditional food of California Natives, was produced by Dance Mission Theater, and made in partnership with Bernadette Smith, Kanyon Sayers-Roods, Tisina Parker, Dancing Earth, Sogorea Te Land Trust, Costanoan Indian Research Inc, and Hover Pictures.
