About: Shaneeka-Akemi Smoot is a dancer/ choreographer based out of the east coast/ midwest. She is currently living in San Francisco. She teaches classes mainly for youth in the bay area. Akemi is trained in Various styles including,Afro-Brazilian, Samba, Bachata, Salsa on 2, House, Whacking, hip hop, afro beats, and so much more.Akemi is currently dancing & competing with InEssence Dance Company, a bachata and salsa group based out of the Bay Area.
