May 16-17: Sat 8pm, Sun 6pm
Rising Rhythm ‘s Evening Length Production, Selva Biónica explores the multiple pathways within the human body. Injuries at any age can physically cause us to stand still and ask us to pause, to reflect on the emotions we feel, the emotions we experience when our life CLOTS. When our bodies feel most isolated, frozen within time, we begin to access our epigenetic DNA. Join us as we investigate how the stories centering, Jessica Maria Recinos, Samad Raheem Guerra and Olivia Eng converge using urban dance, poetry, original musical composition, video projection and collaborative process with the members of Rising Rhythm Company, Rising Rhythm Collective & Rising Rhythm Youth Company.
