Spiral through space, release into the earth, and get upside down. This full-body workout draws from classical, yoga, pedestrian, and urban movement styles. We will learn to flow into and out of the floor with ease. Sequences in center floor and across the floor will warm from skull and neck to ankle and toe as well as from the deep internal (core) out to the hairs on the skin. Range of motion will include gross skeletal to fine nuances of the joints and tissue layers. Combinations are simple, fun, and musical so that we may focus on correct technical fundamentals. This class is for everyone. Welcomed are moving while emitting laughter, celebrating individuality, and building loving community. No dance experience required. Barefoot and comfortable exercise clothing suggested.
