SFDanceworks presents a raw and intimate evening of dance that illuminates the choreographic process. 4PLAY is a chance for 4 emerging choreographers (Brett Conway, Dana Genshaft, Nick Korkos, Laura O’Malley) to PLAY with ideas in the studio and experiment with staging their ideas in a relaxed environment, with the focus being more on process rather than product. 4PLAY choreographers will also collaborate with Freely Mad Productions to create films that support and extend their work, inviting the audience to deepen their understanding of the choreographic process.
